The Spex Manta Classic back support combines the best of two Spex Seating favourites, merging the familiar wraparound shape of the Manta with the proven cube contouring technology of the Spex Classic. This has opened up the Manta to a wider range of users who may benefit from more customisable and targeted support. On the inside are built-in lateral trunk supports, a pressure-relieving foam inner overlay, and the ability to contour on the spot. On the outside, a soft, breathable cover hugs the whole back support, offering comfort to the user.
The Manta Classic is designed for people who require:
Add or remove cubes while the user remains seated. Simply unzip the cover from the top to access the contouring system. The cube anchor system prevents cubes from shifting or slipping during transfers. Contouring cubes for the lateral wings are included in the box and can be added as needed.
Extended lateral hardware maintains the Manta's signature shape, even with built-up contouring. The lateral trunk support covers are made from soft neoprene, ensuring comfort during self-propulsion. Select the swing-away lateral option (pictured) for easier transfers.
The Manta Classic's cover is designed with a zipper that runs around the entire rear edge of the back support, making it simple to remove for washing and to replace the foam insert afterwards. Underneath the cover lies a pressure-relieving inner overlay for maximum user comfort.
